My name is Kailen (Kai) Nelson. As I grew into adulthood, I searched for high-quality holistic health practices. I became a certified Shiatsu Practitioner, Yoga Teacher and Therapeutic Yoga Practitioner by 2010. It was in my Therapeutic Yoga Training that I discovered this highly effective methodology into deep relaxation and self awareness. I was amazed that it was more efficient to direct the mind in processing instead of sitting and waiting for it to magically quiet on its own. My brain felt like a sensory storm, yet I could just go with the speed of it and cycle into the calm center.

With practice I expanded my interoception, proprioception, dimensional awareness and self awareness. It also helped me recover from a shoulder injury (as I was able to relax in an awkward position). In 2013, I was selected to teach multiple cohorts at the University of Minnesota in a study using EEG and brain/computer interface technology. In each study my students consistently outperformed control groups using this same methodology. Now I offer weekly sessions for members, private sessions and group sessions. I’m especially passionate about supporting those with Dementia, Alzheimer’s and ADHD.
